Compassion21 seeks to share the compassion of Jesus with people who are struggling spiritually, emotionally and physically.

Our programs are designed to create trusting relationships with our neighbors living in challenging environments in an effort to affect positive futures. Our core programs include benevolence, mentoring, community based learning centers and small group community evangelism.

History

Compassion21 began in 1994 as the Montgomery Inner City Ministry. MICM still operates today as a part of the Compassion21 organization.

Ken Kilpatrick was the original founder and he is still active as the Executive Director. Compassion21 provides services to our low income/inner city neighbors particularly in Chisholm, Tulane Gardens, Gibbs Village East and West, Smiley Court and Paterson Court. All services are directed from our facilities at 2414 Lower Wetumpka Road.
